During his time at Radford University, Hudson worked on a research project under the Presidential Highlander Research Rookies program, where he studied various Chopin Preludes and arranged those preludes for solo marimba. He has recordings for all the Chopin Preludes he has studied so far as well as his own arrangements of them uploaded to his YouTube Channel. These works have been published under Heartland Marimba Publications, and are available for purchase online and were featured in a booth at the 2022 Percussive Arts Society International Conference.
